Subscribe to my mailing list

Hey all, I’m trying something new here on Yeys –

For the month of March – and possibly moving forward as well – all of my new blog content will be exclusively available to my mailing list subscribers.

That’s right – no more public posts! If, for some inexplicable reason, you enjoy reading my ramblings, you’ll need to scroll down the page to subscribe to the list.

Why no more public posts?

I’m trying to increase the frequency of my communications with Yeys readers. For some reason, sending out an email is much easier than publishing a blog post. Posting something on the blog feels more formal, so I end up spending more time fine-tuning things.

Why even send out the emails?

Writing these emails helps me brainstorm.

Yeys readers unknowingly serve as my mental sounding board.

As I come up with an idea, I run it through my head in the form of an imaginary email to this list and wonder how readers might respond. It helps!

And I figured, why not just type it out for real?

Writing about new projects might also help with accountability.

Last, but not at all least: I often get fantastic feedback to these emails. There’s an entire community of great publishers out there, and this is my way of staying in touch with you all.

What’s in it for you?

Just an honest peek into how I approach various aspects of web publishing. Hopefully, the brainstorming will be mutually beneficial.
